Cairo Pyramids & Museum Day Trip from Alexandria Port

One of our representatives will pick you up from Alexandria Port once your cruise ship arrives at the harbor. Our representative will be waiting for you with a sign of your name. Then he will transfer you to Cairo via an a/c car. The journey will take nearly three hours and we can even arrange a stop in between if required.

Your trip in Cairo will begin with a journey to the Pyramids of Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinus. Afterward we will proceed to see the Great Sphinx – which is the head of pharaoh with a lion body. The Great Sphinx dates back to the era of Chephren. This tour also brings you a chance to see the Valley Temple which belongs to the Pyramid of Chephren. Then we will see the Step Pyramids of Zoser – which is one of the oldest major stone structures in the world. The structure was constructed in the third dynasty for ruler Djoser.

Take your lunch at any local eatery in Cairo.

Then we will proceed to Salah el Din Citadel, and Albaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then you will explore the Egyptian Museum which boasts relics from the Pharaonic era. Here in this museum you will witness a rare collection of 5000 years of Egyptian arts. More than 250,000 authentic relics can be observed, encompassing an exhibit devoted to Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold and ornament found in 1920. Then we will continue to Islamic Cairo, where you can explore Cairo’s old Bazaar – Khan El Khalil Bazaar. If time allows you will have a chance to make a stop at Alexandria. Following that you will be driven back to Alexandria Port via an air-conditioned luxury car. Back to your cruise for the final departure.
