10 Days Cairo, Nile Cruise & Alexandria by Sleeper Train

After you have your breakfast in the morning, you will start with the Egyptian Museum tour to explore the 5000 years old Egyptian art pieces. Take this chance to discover exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry. After that, you will stop at the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren and Mykerions as well as the Sphinx.

We will then transfer you to the train station for your overnight sleeper train to Aswan. You will be served with dinner on the train and overnight in the sleeper train.

Important Note – We don’t recommend this tour as it takes 15-18 hours. But we recommend you to take a domestic flight allowing you to travel in comfort and provide you an additional night stay in a 5 star hotel.

You will have breakfast on the train. Upon your arrival in Aswan, we will transfer you in the hotel for a smooth check-in. Your overnight will be provided in Aswan.

After you have your breakfast in the hotel, you will have a leisure day. Or, take an optional visit to the Temple of Abu Simbel, the Colossal Temple of Abu Simbel built by Ramses II and the Temple of King’s wife Nefertari dedicated to the goddess Hathor. You will be back to Aswan.

After that, you will visit the High Dam, the Philae Temple and we will provide cruise transfer including onboard lunch. Then, you will take a sailing trip to Kom Ombo and have afternoon tea session. After that, we will take a visit to the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. When you sail along Edfu, you will enjoy onboard dinner and overnight in Edfu.

As soon as you get onboard breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu and cross the lock. We will take a sailing trip to Luxor and allow you have an afternoon tea. You will have onboard dinner and Galabya Party session. Your overnight will be provided in cruise.

You will have onboard breakfast and cross the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, and the Necropolis of Thebes. Your overnight will be provided in Luxor.

After onboard breakfast, you will disembark. Or enjoy an optional hot balloon flight to get up-close to the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens and the Mountain on the Nobles. The hot balloon flight takes around 30-45 minutes depending on weather conditions.

On the East Bank, you will visit the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. We will provide transfer to the train station for your overnight in sleeper train to Cairo. You will have dinner on the train and of course overnight there.

Our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel for a trip to the Alexandria Library. In addition to, you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy, found in nearby underwater. You can also take a chance to see the free museums or collections like the Saddat Museum and the impressions of Alexandria Museum.

Important Note – Alexandria opens every day except Fridays and every public holiday. You need to buy a ticket to enter the reading area.

We will then take you on a tour to the Roman Amphitheatre in Alexandria to see the display of the sunken monuments discovered under the East harbor of Alexandria. After that, you will visit the St. Mark Church, the oldest church in Africa. Later, you will visit old downtown in Alexandria where you will take a walk through the old city center of Alexandria.

Then, you will stop at the traditional markets, which sell everything including traditional Egyptian sweets and treats. We will take a visit to El Nabi Daniel Mosque, which contains the remains of the scholar and venerated teacher Prophet Daniel and his companion Sidi Lokman el Hakim.

Take an optional lunch stop at the modern Fish Restaurant or a famous and traditional Alexandria food place – Mohamed Ahmed’s. Or take an optional break in a good quality coffee shop or a traditional shisha café.

After that, you will pass through the oldest market area in Mansheya and stop at traditional women’s markets with very narrow and thin streets, gold market for wedding and engagement jewelry. Then, you will stop at the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, Corniche and the old harbor where you can see the old fishing boats, fishing men and traditional fishermen making nets.

You will continue your visit to Quaitbay Castle, Montaza Gardens and make a stop at the King of Mango as well as enjoy drinking at Alexandrian’s drive through freshly squeezed juices. We will make a photo stop at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria.

You will enjoy the beautiful coastline and spectacular city views while going along the Montaza Palace and Gardens including the old harbor of Alexandria, the home to 7000 underwater monuments. In addition to, you will take a visit to the Royal Gardens of King Farouk and the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as Montaza Bridge. You will reach the Tea Palace Island and enjoy seeing the royal beaches of queens. Your overnight will be provided in Alexandria.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo in an air-conditioned car for your arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Or take an optional visit to the Step Pyramids of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone stricture. After that, we will transfer you to Memphis and allow you see the Statue of Ramses II. Along the way to south, you will stop at the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur.

We will then take you an optional evening trip to the Sound & Light Show in the pyramids area. Your overnight will be in Cairo.

After you have breakfast at the hotel, our representative will pick you up to provide airport transportation. Rest assured that, we will help you through final departure formalities and you will have an amazing flight back home.
